It was with total delight that I stepped outside today to a day warmer than 35 degrees!
Blessed Spring.  For your warmth and the promise of new growth, I am grateful!

My side garden which is predominantly a flower garden, is situated is near the back door, and is south facing, so it enjoys a lot of sunlight.   The day lilies and crocuses are coming up; the sage and lavender are awakening from winter's dormancy.
I love the first days that I can sink my hands into the dark, sweet earth and smell the rich scents of returning life everywhere.  My big, fluffy kitty, Tam Lin, joins me and rolls in the dirt and decaying leaves left behind from winter, reveling in the mere act of embracing the earth.

Last night we had another lively, informative Tarot Playgroup at AwenTree.  It's always so great to see the variety of tarot decks that everyone brings and to hear others insights and wisdom regarding their experiences with the tarot.  We worked on "knowing" and sharing different ways that we "know".  Then we worked a new way to create a 3 card spread.  We separated the Major Arcana from the Minor Arcana.  Then we pulled one Major Arcana card to start the reading.  After reading that card, we returned it to the deck of Minor Cards and shuffled.  We looked to see where the Major card ended up after shuffling and which 2 cards it was in between.  We then read those cards with the Major card.  This is a great little spread for quick insight to a situation or to check in with Spirit for reflection.

As you go about your day, remember to breathe deep the fresh air, to take a moment to feel the sun's light and touch the Earth.
